I accomplished the following last week:
- Created resource spreadsheet (modeled after a content inventory template) to map HL7 and NCI documents to NCI training goals for early 2010
- Attended working session at the NCI with J. Platt to work through mapping process
- Attended meeting with C. Mead, R. Chintalpati, and J. Platt to discuss next steps
- Reviewed SAEAF DITA Project Strategy document, tracked changes, and posted an update at http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=Image:DITA_CONTENT_STRATEGY_EV-2009-12-11.doc
- Tested DITA tools to develop comparison; called JustSystems to speak with representative but he was out Thursday and Friday
This week I am working on the following:
- Setting up a wiki page with a comparison of the DITA tools
- Reviewing updates to various resources
- Completing resource mapping
Done today:
- Set up wiki infrastructure for editing crew.
- Spoke with Ryan Loland of JustSystems regarding pricing for XMetal. Later forwarded additional questions from Jane.
- Working on wiki page for tool comparison.
