Issue
American College of Cardiology 2008 Key Data Elements and Definitions for Cardiac Imaging, J. Am. Coll. Cardiol. doi:10.1016/j.jacc.2008.09.006
Identifies the following key administrative data elements associated with the service delivery location:
- site ID
- site of service type of facility
- cardiac imaging service
- accreditation status
- accreditation entity
The last two are not currently modellable in the CDA header.
Recommendation
- from HealthCareFacility role (Service Delivery Location), add an IDENT RoleLink to a new role AccreditedEntity, with a scoper Entity of the accrediting organization. This allows the document to support conveying accreditations.
