ArB: conformance vs. compliance

There is a discussion at ARB, but from our perspective ArB is not responsible to make a decision. ArB may craft a proposal and present it to the group. Otherwise, there is no clear distinction of responsibilities and we may close our group.

What is the difference between compliance?

• conformance: implement conforms to profile.
• compliance: internal models comply with each other.

Therefore, those to terms are orthogonal.

Kyoto planning

Jason will attend, Frank is still working on it, no one form NIST, Jane will probably come. No ideas for the rest of the group.

Kyoto agenda

Only Tuesday, totally reserved for v2.x stuff. Delete co-chair election from Agenda. Delete tools presentation from Tue Q3 as there are not presenters attending. Joint session Mon Q4 or Wed Q1 with Patient Safety (Jason attending).

Added to chp.2b and sent around. It reflects the discussion of the group as of Orlando WGM; Jason is quite happy with it. Lets stay with what we have and bring it to ballot.

Frank explained the principles in behind and referred to the IHE Terminology whitepaper. The whitepaper will be sent to the group soon.
