August 22, Wednesday, 4:00 to 5:00 pm. ET
- Attendees: Matt Blackmon, John Ritter, Fernando Campos, Sadhana Alangar, Virginia Lorenzi, Caroline Bennett
- Approval of Minutes
Agreed to wait till next meeting to approve the meeting minutes for the last two meetings
- Study Guides
Pat and Mel from marketing feel these need to be updated. Also, practice test for V2 needs to be 2.8 not 2.7. Sadhana recommends that certification materials should be updated on a regular basis so they are not very out of date.
- Veterans Administration GI Bill Certificate Exam Approval Process (Virginia)
Virginia provided her proposed edits. Sadhana liked it. Committee agreed to review. Decided all links should be removed.
- Education Dashboard (Sadhana)
Sadhana showed the dashboard and noted that all required counts were met. Felt that promotions paid off. Virginia was impressed with how much FHIR training was sold in July - FHIR Fundamentals, DevDays, and FHIR Summer Series. Shows the capacity possible. Fall courses to include IHE on FHIR, SMART on FHIR, and HAPI on FHIR and FHIR Terminology. Decided that FHIR Fundamentals should incorporate certification preparation questions within the curriculum to prepare students for certification. Nick from Optum wanted to be a trainer.
- September WGM Dinner (Sadhana).
Dinner confirmed - Sadhana wanted to know if there were any food preferences.
- September Tutorial Data (Sadhana).
Discussed current counts. Need to market FHIR experience (Virginia to send suggested tweets). Sadhana will provide frequent updates.
- September WGM Lunch and EAC sessions agenda.
Agenda needs to be planned - topic for next meeting.
