Subject: Notice to HL7 Co-chairs regarding protecting ballot documents
Dear PIC, Wayne Kubick indicated that PIC asked that at the Co-Chair’s dinner Monday night in Madrid that I remind Co-chairs of their obligations under section 2.16 of the Co-Chair Handbook (Responsibilities for Intellectual Property). As I was trying to re-call how this could be done, I needed to have Dave Hamill remind me of the process. Dave very kindly put together a document to help guide the Co-chairs through the process for members only document uploading. I suspect Co-chairs need this additional information. Can we update section 2.16 to indicate that there is a guide and can we add the guide as an addendum (or attachment) to the Co-Chair Handbook?
Can we make the Guide available on the PIC resource page temporarily so that I can direct the Co-chairs to it until it is placed in the Co-chair Handbook?
Ken McCaslin, FHL7
