Agenda

Agenda Topics

  1. Status of SOLOR work
  2. timeline for January.

Minutes

Minutes/Conclusions Reached:

  1. Nurses meetings
    1. not held this week
    2. mostly done with wound
      1. pending:
        1. trend refsets (PUSH, Jensen instruments)
        2. location - probably union of sets of terms for 6 use cases
    3. skin assessment in queue
      1. color, turgor, moisture, integrity, temperature
      2. current color draft is query-based: lots of concepts we don't want, not all the ones we do
  2. CIMI model
    1. Joey completing a draft 9/30 (but contract renewed; work will continue)
    2. Modelers need refset IDs & descriptions to put in ADL
      1. all refset IDs for Wound have been provided
    3. constructing URIs, e.g., http://snomed.info/id/201000205104
      1. Note: also discussed OID URIs; e.g., urn:oid:0.2.4.5.66.5.3 Relationship unclear - is this for VSAC, http for OntoServer?
      2. Note: this pattern does not handle module or version
      3. Question: were we not planning to use refset UUIDs rather than concept IDs?
    4. refset contents not needed; these will be pulled from terminology server using refset ID
    5. Joey will ask Patrick to deploy the build to the web (models.opencimi.org) so we can all review
  3. Issue: CIMI ADL could not support terminology
    1. Joey used openEHR construct to address issue, but it's not CIMI
    2. How this will be resolved is not yet clear - adoption of openEHR model (possibly more complex than needed) or construction of some intermediate solution
  4. Plagiarism
    1. We wish to leverage prior art where possible, and not have to re-invent language that will perforce diverge from agreed definitions
    2. We wish to avoid IP disputes
    3. Jay will reach out to NPUAP regarding incorporation of NPUAP language in CIMI artifacts. Will copy Lorraine and Karen at HL7.
    4. Whether this has an effect on SOLOR is tbd
    5. Whether this has an effect on Style Guide is tbd
