Minutes

Minutes/Conclusions Reached:

  1. Procedure call last night
    1. If SCT & LOINC overlap you can use either
      1. if in scope for IHTSDO/Regenstrief agreement
    2. Considering action types (e.g., order, done, not done)
    3. Do not use "unapproved" attribute concepts
    4. Do not record categories; these may be derived from concepts when necessary
    5. Colors: process under consideration to create a finding with 'has color' attribute to allow reuse of color concepts in findings
  2. It has become apparent that the exam and wound data form at least two distinct model patterns
    1. Examination assessed value: a simple question-answer pattern
    2. Assertion of abnormality, with detail; e.g., lesion
    3. The assessed value may assert presence (or absence, or risk) of an abnormality, which is detailed in the assertion pattern
    4. See this diagram.
  3. We reviewed the Intermountain CEM and added comments to spreadsheet.
