Minutes

Minutes/Conclusions Reached:

  1. really examination observation, not exam - ok; we'll do composition into examination later
  2. only include elements found in models, not entire SCT model - ok; we'll add what we need when we need it
  3. openEHR: redundant sites; description/findings - ok, but not our problem
  4. openEHR: chart by exception - Agreed, we can use the 'no abnormality found' but we don't like the words and prefer 'within defined limits'
    1. do we need a definition?
  5. openEHR findings limited to wound & lesion: we will extend to fit our needs
  6. Add LOINC axes to table
  7. Each wound is an individual observation; they'll need numbers
  8. We think a lesion site is one site, though it may be complex and require some structure. there is only one anatomy property (unlike procedure, etc.)
  9. Example: infant is pink everywhere but shading off into blue in extremities
    1. Is this two observations, trunk pink & extremities blue?
    2. Does the text observation modify or qualify that structured observation?
    3. Might NPUAP guidelines clarify loose ends?
  10. Color: 3 options in SCT.
    1. IHTSDO: use finding
    2. Cerner & Epic use qualifier; NLM says ok, you have application context
    3. Susan to ask Jim to clarify
  11. Intermountain: wound is a condition; observations qualify it
    1. We may not know what a condition is.
