Minutes
Minutes/Conclusions Reached:
- PSS status: DESD OK, no TSC. ARB question.
- Jay to follow up once he locates the thread
- Terminology status
- LOINC just released
- we are missing Braden impression; now created and added to panel
- NPUAP changed all the name: 'pressure ulcer' is now 'pressure injury'
- and suspected deep tissue injury
- vsac body location sites are good
- SM to review wound assessment to identify in-scope items and processing status
- Assessment pattern
- following template used by Linda & Susan M
- We'll use our skin example, not just generic idea (skin)
- But also identify a superset of all candidate data elements - not the 80%
- Need to make recommendations to SCT for clinical observable model (as opposed to lab)
- Jay to draw picture of recommendation for group; no resolution till Harold & Linda in synch
- How to align with SCT
- need clear definitions of concept model attributes. yes
- Jay to ask Daniel Karlsson if he can attend a call and clarify observable model, or recommend channels for guidance
- Tactics to resolve issues depend on question. identify questions first.
- semantic binding question
- model bindings to SCT attributes works, but what about the subject of attribution (e.g., the observable entity)?
- bind "code" with "is-a"? - makes model an instance of the thing, all other attributes are of the model (specialization of the observable entity)
- but if code is observable, that's different from the model itself with is 'assertion of value found for observable at time T'
- possibly 'topic' compositional pattern works here: bind 'observation found' composition to Finding; compose from 'topic' model based on Observable
- Jay to draw a picture to make this solution option easier to understand
