Projects

  • Arden Syntax v2.10: This is the latest version of the Arden Syntax standard, published in 2014, updating v2.9 to make the XML version of Arden a normative option and to provide a normative alternative to the curly braces for data references using the vMR. Reaching its ANSI 5-year anniversary in October, 2019, this standard will undergo a reaffirmation ballot in 2019.
  • Arden Syntax Implementation Guide Release 1: This provides recommendations and exemplars regarding how to use the Arden Syntax to deliver clinical decision support in specific situations.
  • Arden Syntax IG R2: This revised version of the original implementation guide release 1 adds chapters on comparison of knowledge formats and use of different data models. It will be published in 2019.
  • CDS Big Picture IG: This implementation guide will provide advice regarding how to use and combine standards to implement clinical decision support solutions, including the Arden Syntax.
