Instructions
As part of the ongoing effort to harmonize CDS and HQMF artifact representation standards, the CDS Knowledge Artifact Specification has been updated as a point release titled "CDS Knowledge Artifact Specification, DSTU Release 1.3". This update is available to HL7 members here. As a minor DSTU update, this new version will not go through the usual HL7 balloting process but will use the DSTU Update process with industry review on the HL7 wiki, as well as the HL7 DSTU Comments site.
The changes in this release are documented in the update and can be summarized as:
- Changes made to align the CDS KAS with the Structured Data Capture initiative form definition specifications.
- Replacement of the current HeD Expression Logic schema with the now published Clinical Quality Language Specification to represent expression logic within a knowledge artifact.
