Paul has undertaken a series of steps to perform the review and mapping:
- Prepare a W3C Schema of the v3publishing DTD
- Validate the existing artifacts against the V3 Publishing Schema
- Determine what changes are required for basic XML validity
- Evaluate which elements and attributes in the V3 Publishing Schema are used and which domains use (or ignore) them
The above process was completed and initial steps were taken to the next phase of mapping the V3 Publishing Schema to the MIF Schema.
- Paul has done some cursory evaluation of the mapping
- Woody has suggested that he will take a domain (Patient Administration was on option) and hand-map to the MIF
