The V2 publishing Work Group is responsible for the publishing of HL7 Version 2.

The V3 Publishing Work Group is responsible for publishing all non Version 2 HL7 Standards.

- The HL7StandardVersionCode vocabulary domain contains nonsensical values. The value set is maintained by the Pubs committee so they'll need to fix this. STILL WRONG in MAY2007 Ballot
V3 Publishing "How To ..." Documents
In response to raised concerns, a handful of "How to ..." documents have been created for the Publishing Work Group. These include:
- How to Edit, Hyperlink and Publish Thumbnail Graphics with Desktop Publishing
- How to create documentation for CMETs
- CMET Publication Task Workflow for Facilitators
- Directory Structure for Version Control of V3 Publishing in Subversion
