Patient Safety Special Interest Group (PSSIG)

Mission Overview:This group supports the HL7 mission to create and promote its standards by creating a standard message structure for patient safety to facilitate the reporting and investigation of patient safety incidents. PSSIG will also work with other committees and SIGs to ensure messages do not adversely affect patient safety and that they appropriately support decision support mechanisms to stop preventable incidents occurring.
