review use cases

Use Case 1 - Review of Lisa Nelson use case slide deck. Includes story as well as a comparison of Problem Concern vs. Health Concern.

Health concern definition – any clinical concept vs. any health related concept. Problems are a subset of Health Concern. We need to sort out the definition in San Antonio. The agenda for San Antonio needs to provide time to have a full discussion of the definition of a Health Concern.

Discussion of the Venn diagrams overlapping problem concerns and health concerns. A Health Concern draw issues to the attention of a health care provider. Would suggest the addition of “why” of the health concern and the tracking.

Need a clear definition of health concern tracker as well (LCC comment).

Use Case 2 – Michael Tan’s slide deck. Discussion of concern vs. problem/risk. A risk may lead to a problem. A risk is the propensity for a problem. Can a health concern represent a risk? Yes – a risk can be a health concern.

Once a definition for health concern and health tracker can be finalized the use cases and visualizations can be finalized with appropriate details. Meanwhile we keep on working on use cases using the powerpoint template.

next meeting

Next meeting is scheduled for the San Antonio WG meeting – Monday, Q3.
