The International Mentoring Committee (IMC) was established in order to formalize some of the pre-existing Affiliates efforts to support fledgling HL7 Affiliate chapters.

Recent Activity

January 2007 saw the results of the IMG's efforts to support two HL7 Affiliates in attending their first Working Group Meeting, with delegates from HL7 Brazil and HL7 Malaysia attending the San Diego WGM under the sponsorship of the US Trade Development Agency. The delegates had the opportunity to showcase their achievements and discuss their future plans at a special Monday night meeting, and the Powerpoint presentations from this inspiring evening are available for download here:

Malaysia Presentation (PPT, approx 650kb)

Brazil Presenation (PPT, approx 1583kb) - Please note - the Brazilian presentation has been compressed to make it small enough to be uploaded to the Wiki, resulting in significant loss of quality to some of the larger images (one or two of which were so badly affected that they have been removed). If you would like a copy of the original (10Mb!) presenation, please email: ruth(dot)kidd(at)nhs(dot)net.

Mentoring Delegates

Delegates who have received sponsorship through the IMC include the following:

January 2007 - Brazil and Malaysia
