Health Concern Topic

Patient Care WG December 4th, 2014

Attendees

  • Michael Tan – Chair
  • Jay Lyle
  • Stephen Chu
  • Larry McKnight
  • Elaine Ayres
  • Claude Nanjo

AGENDA

  • review DAM document
  • Action items
  • next meeting

Document review:

  • The DAM document was sent through the Patient Care List.
  • We reviewed the document and discussed the comments from September from Larry that were not persuasive.
  • The text on page 6 about problem lists was adjusted and the ballot disposition altered to "persuasive with mod".
  • In the text about tracking the word 'prognosis' on page 26 in Scenario 1 was altered to 'assessment' and the ballot disposition altered
  • We had a vivid discussion about the diagram in figure 5. In Larry's view the health concern should be called health concern tracker. In the view of the others tracking was regarded as an activity which was done with the health concern and it was not considered as a separate class. The discussion did not come to a conclusion.

Action Items

  • Michael will perform the final edit and submit the document to HL7 for publication.

Next call

  • The next call will be Thursday December 11th.
  • Topic: continuation of the discussion with Larry on the class diagram about Health Concern and Health Concern tracker/tracking.
