MHWG and the EHR and PHR WG joint meeting agenda: MHWG (Mobile Health Work Group) agenda items in Baltimore on Tuesday, 2012-09-11 Q2 for 45 minutes • Discuss creation of a definition (or perhaps multiple, stakeholder-specific definitions) of MHealth. • Suggest that MHWG review the PHR-S FM and EHR-S FM and offer Mobile Health –related recommendations. • Discuss possible creation of a Mobile Health Functional Profile (of the EHR-S FM and/or PHR-S FM). • Discuss possible creation of a Mobile Health Implementation Guide. • Discuss the possible creation of a Mobile Health Functional Model. • Update existing functional profiles? 2. Examine Stakeholder Groups’ interests in mHealth, including: • Healthcare Professionals • Citizens (therapy versus wellness versus fitness) • Tribes/Migratory groups • Homecare • Statisticians (to offer surveillance over populations) • Emergency Response • Research (e.g., Genome analysis) • Social Media (e.g., Facebook) 3. The MHWG should provide an overview of current mHealth activities worldwide, including: • HIE • HIMSS • HL7 • ISO • Etc. 4. Market the new MHWG at the WGM: • Create a colorful wall chart (for display in the registration area) announcing “Who we are…” • Create a paper handout (for folks to give to key contacts back in their home countries) • Create Birds-Of-a-Feather (say Tuesday 5:15 PM for 45 minutes) • Set out a glass jar in the registration area for collecting names/email addresses of folks to be contacted in other countries and to collect brief suggestions for MHWG tasks.
