The current iteration of the document ontology can be viewed via the LOINC database, freely available at the LOINC website.  A Windows-based mapping utility called the Regenstrief LOINC Mapping Assistant (RELMA®) is provided by the Regenstrief Institute, thus assisting in searching and mapping. Also useful, particularly to the current published iteration of the Document Ontology is the discussion document [http://www.regenstrief.org/loinc/discussion/Clinical/ontology.doc/ HL7 LOINC Document Type Vocabulary Domain].
