    • The issue is about the status of procedure performed, e.g., colonoscopy may be performed but it was not completed due to some reasons. The QDM procedure performed datatype supports status attribute.
    • This issue will be discussed during the upcoming QDM user workgroup call.
    • Further discussions around this with the Patient WG and FHIR are needed.


  • Request for CQI member agenda items for CQI Baltimore HL7 Work Group Meeting Agenda
    • Floyd reviewed the current draft work group meeting agenda and asked the group if there are any agenda items that they would like to add or any additional joint meetings the CQI WG should hold with other work groups


  • Viet told the CQI group that he learned that there is an Electronic Case Reporting (ECR) IG STU 2 that is sponsored by Public Health WG sponsored by the Public Health WG. The CQI WG may be interested in the ECR IG because it is for case reporting and registries, it might be closely related to the IGs for eCQMs. There will be a bird an feather discussion about the ECR IG during the upcoming HL7 meeting in Baltimore, the work group members might be interested in attending.


  • ONC Interoperability Standards Advisory (ISA) - Follow up discussion from September 7 [Led by Walter Suarez]

    • ONC issued a request for information (RFI) on criteria to measure the performance of certified electronic health record technology (CEHRT). The Cures Act requires that health IT developers report information on certified health IT as a condition of certification and maintenance of certification under the ONC Health IT Certification Program.
    • Walter reviewed the updated ISA comments slides based on feedback received during the last work group discussion. Please refer to the Updated ISA comments slides for details of the updated comments
    • Walter made the motion to approve these ISA comments for submission to HL7. Julia Skapik seconded
