In this document references to SNOMED CT concepts and expressions are represented using the SNOMED Compositional Grammar. An extension to this grammar is used in this document to represent constraints on use of SNOMED CT concepts and expressions. The extended grammar is explained in SNOMED CT Compositional Grammar - extended, together with references to the SNOMED CT source material related to the underlying logical model.
