Minutes

Minutes/Conclusions Reached:

  • Roll Call & Agenda Review
  • Trifolia new release presentation - Sarah Gaunt
    • Review at tdb@lantanagroup.com
    • SQL Server/ C# based
    • Discussion on DITA and Templates ITS, DECOR,
    • HDM/HQMF templates discussed
    • Codeset checking capability still in development and not yet available.
    • 6-8 months anticipated to next release, including GreenCDA and editing capabilities.
  • Project updates: MAX, EHRS-FM Profile Designer,
    • Andy reviews the MAX project status.
      • MAX project team meets once a month via teleconference, but tonight there will be a demo by Hugh Glover.
      • AMS has requested cochairs to provide use cases for the MAX system/architecture. EHR-S FM project using MAX to validate models they create. Hugh has used it for rapid definition entry by business analysts.
      • JD asks about turning it into a Swiss Army knife solution or are these different applications of the same core solution. Andy feels they are different applications of the core solution, originally envisioned for creating interoperability among DAMs as Word or PDF documents when balloted.
      • Michael observes that it has a flat architecture which allows him to use it for spreadsheets in his hospital. While the csv capability is important data is not really flat, compared to HMD or EHR-S FM
      • AMS will also address MAX in CIC next quarter.
    • EHR-S FM Profile Designer discussed by Michael
      • History of EHR-S FM tool by Corey Spears for processing and publishing elements. EHR-S FM R2 becoming more computable and R3 will be even more so.
      • Wrapping up phase 1. Tool has been presented to the WG and some fixes in process to complete Phase 1. Presentation in EHR WG yesterday on results. Volunteer organization having a funded project has proved to be difficult. If you have specifications needing approval by a volunteer based WG with erratic teleconference attendance it complicates the progress towards deadlines. Need to extend timelines for setting expectations of the WG. As a project, also need to insist on regular calls e.g. each month first 20 minutes of agenda.
      • Michael gives an overview of the EHR-S FM structure and then the profiles. Traceability and optionality representation discussed. Export in MAX format is using CSS in HTML 5. Validation also discussed.
      • MAX import/export is only within EA at this time. RSA may be considered.
