Was this official notification process to pubs of intent to publish really helpful? Given that there was a short period between the WGM and the initial publication date everybody (within INM) went into a mad scramble this time to get 10 forms in for pubs, then 10 RFIs, supporting project statements etc. Some of that is required by ANSI, but could the process of notifying pubs be simplified? It just adds yet another form, another date and more red tape.. In other words: was the additional value to YOU really worth the trouble caused to others? Rene spronk 23:40, 24 October 2006 (CDT)
Rene, this was discussed (see minutes). In brief the value is there, but we need to streamline the process and reduce duplication of effort. Action item taken to improve this. Woody 10:49, 25 October 2006 (CDT)
