Overview

The use of occupational data for health (ODH) in electronic health record systems and personal health record systems, and will facilitate the association of work and health in a way that has the potential to dramatically improve worker health. ODH in HL7 V2 Messaging and FHIR

Description

This project will develop a V2 messaging structure and FHIR artifact (e.g. resource or profile) for communicating Occupational Data for Health (ODH) elements.

The Structured Documents Work Group are working on a project to develop an ODH C-CDA template (see below). The V2 and FHIR project will align with this template.

ODH for Consolidated CDA Social History Section

Description

This project will define data elements and a standard format for the incorporation of patient-specific work information in the social history section of a C-CDA document. A C-CDA structure for patient work information will be developed that retains the critical relationships among data elements that encompass work information
