FHIR/SOA Demonstration

• From Ken Rubin - this item has been postponed to another meeting cycle

Security and Privacy DAM

• Kathleen: Not quite ready for discussion at the September 2014 WGM. Kathleen has dropped this task for the WGM in favor of helping CBCC with the Data Provenance ballot reconciliation.

PSS Joint EHR-FM, Privacy and Security Joint Vocabulary Alignment Project

• Voting on this project will end on September 10.
• Members of the Financial Management (FM) WG have outstanding questions on the Joint EHR-FM, Privacy and Security Joint Vocabulary Alignment PSS that need to be resolved.
  • Kathleen suggested contacting Lynn Laakso from HL7 to request her attendance at the next EHR Interoperability WG meeting, where she could help address some of the technical questions.

Patient Friendly Security and Privacy Language for Consent Directives

• Suzanne sent out the updated Patient Friendly Security and Privacy Language for Consent Directives PSS to CBCC WG members for their e-vote.
• The FM WG has remaining questions on the title of the project. No decision has been made on a new title, and Mike suggested that the project name be patient friendly ("informational consent" is not a friendly-sounding name, Mike said).
• Kathleen added that HL7 has a long history of specifications containing the terms "privacy consent directive."

Patient Friendly Security and Privacy Language for Consent Directives - ONTOLOGY scope - Diana

• Diana presented a preliminary planning document for the scope and terms of the Patient Friendly Security and Privacy Language for Consent Directives ontology.
• Kathleen offered to send guidance on the vocabulary.
