V2.XML to v2 ER encoding transformation

Q: Does anyone have or know about a tool that would convert an HL7 v2.x pipe-delimited message to a corresponding XML-encoded one? My team is at the end of testing receiving messages and needs to test both pipe and XML versions.

• I believe you can do it with HAPI. There are some commercial products that do it as well. Just google HL7 "v2.xml".
• The Reverse Engineering function within Messaging Workbench (MWB) tool can be used to convert HL7 v2.x pipe-delimited message to its corresponding XML-encoded message.
• Lumrix has a shareware converter for versions up to 2.4.
