Agenda

Agenda Topics

  1. PSS
  2. Delivery
  3. Queries

Minutes

Minutes/Conclusions Reached:

  1. PSS: related project 1135
    1. Rob will confirm with Jean whether to shut it down or suggest this project will provide input.
  2. PSS product
    1. We'll check "DAM." We may take the example pattern spreadsheet and put the examples in UML to make it look more like a DAM.
    2. Specification patterns: V2, V3, CDA, FHIR, ADL
    3. Policy: we may make recommendations but we don't own policy adoption.
  3. query sources
    1. We want to distinguish things that are conceptually 'negated' but for which we don't need to compute on negation (e.g., we think, "asplenia": it's just a condition) from things for which we need to understand absence (e.g., procedure not done for purposes of CQI).
      1. CDS engines presumably have repositories of queries we can mine
      2. Ditto for CQI
      3. And reporting modules.
    2. Sources
      1. Jay to ask Cerner & copy Richard & Rob, who may follow up
      2. Rob to approach Epic
      3. Jay to investigate VA
  4. Additional possible criterion: is the negated thing specialized, which would cause inference consequences. E.g., "no pedal pulse" is just a question with an answer, but if we need to classify "no pedal pulse after exercise" then we need to understand that negation is in play.
