Privacy Preserving Authorization / Cascaded Authorization White Papers - Mohammad

  • paper - Draft for the WG, to be finalized by the WG

    • to be presented as an HL7 paper (not as a VA paper)

PSAF Call report out

  • call held this AM
  • all but three comments were reconciled, remaining comments require clarification from Bernd Blobel
  • PSAF and the TF is relying heavily on the S&P DAM which is undergoing updates

Privacy Obsolete No significant changes

  • attempted to consolidate the data
  • prepping update (PPT) at the HL7 WGM

FHIR Security Update - John Moehrke

  • have not met for some time, There is a meeting today!
  • FHIR comments ballot is open now--recommend reviewing for comment ballot
    • this will drive our upcoming months; (a few handfuls of narrative text to work on)

New Orleans WGM Agenda

  • add TEFCA to Q3/Q4 joint agenda? (yes - Suzanne to add)

Security WG call on January 23 -

  • yes, we will have a call.

TEFCA

  • DRAFT is out,
  • assumes that HL7 will have interest
  • Does Security want to plan to produce HL7 relevant comments with respect to the DRAFT ONC TEFCA
    • make comments through HL7 (US-centric/US participants) due by February 20
  • Chris will follow up with Kathleen if there are any consolidated comments will be sent
    • Mike would like to dedicate some time at NOLA WGM Joint meeting

ISA

  • the PAC policy advisory committee - co-chairs have been asked to provide comments
    • Hans has given co-chairs January 12 as a deadline which has passed
    • PAC will be hosting ONC at the New Orleans meeting (?)
    • If security would like to provide comment and give to PAC they will most likely accept them...presumably.
